How To Import Showbiz into Saturation with 4 easy steps
To import your budget from Showbiz into Saturation, follow these simple steps. This process ensures that all your financial data, crew lists, and production estimates are accurately transferred.
Step 1: Export the Budget from Showbiz
Open Showbiz Budgeting and navigate to the project file you want to export. In the toolbar at the top, click on File and then select Export.
A window will pop up with several format options. From the list, select Excel (csv).
Make sure to select the Source Phase as Estimated.
Choose any other options relevant to your export (e.g., invoices, petty cash, credit card). It’s pretty safe if you want to import everything.
Once all settings are confirmed, click Export and save the file in a location where you can easily access it.
Step 2: Create a New Project in Saturation.io
Start a new project in Saturation.io, where you will import the Showbiz Budgeting csv.

Click on the new project you just created
Navigate to the Budget section on the dashboard.
Click on Share, and select the Showbiz CSV format from the list of supported imports.
Choose the file you exported from Showbiz and upload it.
