Saturation provides robust tools for in-app communication and collaboration through its comments system. This article will guide you through the features and best practices for using comments in Saturation.

The comments panel is your central hub for in-app communication in Saturation. It allows collaborators to communicate with each other directly within the platform, enhancing teamwork and productivity.

Key Features:

  1. Tag Collaborators: Easily mention team members by typing '@' followed by their name.

  2. Tag Accounts: Reference specific accounts by typing '#' followed by the account name.

  3. Comment on Specific Line Items: Attach comments to particular acco of your project for context.

  4. View Tracking: See who has viewed each comment.

  5. Comment Resolution: Mark discussions as resolved when they're completed.

Accessing Comments

There are multiple ways to access and manage comments in Saturation:

  1. Comments Icon: Open the comments drawer by clicking the comments icon in the top right corner of the interface.

Comments-Only Access

Saturation offers a unique "Comments Only" access level for collaborators. This feature allows you to:

  1. Share a link to the budget with specific individuals.

  2. Receive feedback from these collaborators without granting full access to the project.

This is particularly useful for gathering input from stakeholders who don't need edit access to the project details.

Best Practices for Using Comments

  1. Use Tags Wisely: Tag only the necessary collaborators to avoid notification fatigue.

  2. Resolve Comments: Mark comments as resolved once the discussion is complete or the issue is addressed.

  3. Regular Check-ins: Make it a habit to review the comments panel to stay updated on project discussions.

By effectively using the comments system in Saturation, you can streamline communication, improve collaboration, and ensure that all team members stay informed about project developments.
