See who is active in a workspace or project (Saturation 3.0)

Presence avatars in the top navigation show other Saturation sessions in the same workspace or project.

Read the presence avatars

The avatar group appears near the top-right corner when at least one other member is present. All sessions for your own account are excluded.

  • On a workspace page, the group shows teammates active in the workspace outside a project.

  • Inside a project, it shows teammates active in that project.

  • The first four sessions appear as avatars. A +number indicator shows how many additional sessions are present.

Move your pointer over an avatar to see the teammate's name. Saturation uses their profile photo when available and their initials when no photo is set.

A teammate can appear more than once if they have Saturation open in multiple browser or app sessions.

Open a teammate's page

Select an avatar to open the page registered for that session. An avatar without a registered page cannot be selected.

Your own permissions still apply. An avatar does not grant access to a project, document, transaction, or other page that your account cannot open.

What presence does not mean

An avatar shows that Saturation currently sees the teammate in the same workspace or project room. It does not mean they are editing the same record or looking at the same table row.

Presence updates as sessions join, reconnect, leave, or close Saturation. A brief delay can occur after a connection is interrupted. If no other teammate is present, the avatar group is hidden.

Presence does not depend on a workspace feature flag. It does require access to the workspace or project room. Vendor-only members do not appear in the workspace presence group, and Vendor Home does not show presence avatars.
