Submit an Invoice as a Vendor (Saturation 3.0)

Your client sends you a secure Saturation link when they need an invoice or payment request. Use that link to upload your invoice, confirm your details, and provide any information the production requires before it can pay you.

Submit your invoice

The steps shown depend on the request and information you have already provided to that client.

  1. Open the secure link from your client's email or message.

  2. Upload your invoice when the Upload invoice or Request payment screen appears.

  3. If asked, enter your name and email, then verify your email with the one-time code. You may also see options to continue with Google or Apple.

  4. Choose your type: Company, Contractor, or Employee.

  5. Complete Your Info, including the contact and address fields marked as required.

  6. Upload a tax document if the production requires one.

  7. Add or select the bank account where you want to be paid. New accounts require the account type, routing number, account number, and address.

  8. If the link is for a payment request, confirm the amount and description. Add a due date or memo if needed.

  9. Sign any required startwork documents when prompted.

  10. Review the information, then submit it.

Invoice uploads can be PDF, JPG, JPEG, or PNG files up to 25 MB. Saturation scans the invoice and may fill the amount, description, due date, contact details, or bank fields. Review every filled field before submitting.

After you submit

Saturation confirms that the production received your invoice or payment request.

  • An invoice-only request may end with Invoice submitted. You can close the page after the confirmation appears.

  • A payment request shows Payment request submitted and sends updates by email.

  • If Go to dashboard appears, use it to open your vendor Home page.

  • On Home, the Payments section shows your requests and approval status when the production has enabled vendor payment requests.

Submitting an invoice does not mean it has been approved or paid. The production's approval and banking process determines when the payment is sent.

If more information is required

The production can require tax documents, bank details, or startwork before payment. Complete every item shown in the secure flow.

Some onboarding setups let you finish your profile before signing startwork. In that case, payment remains blocked until the required document is signed. Sign in to your vendor Home page and complete any item that still needs attention.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to create a Saturation workspace?

No. Open the secure link from your client. You may need to verify your email or sign in so Saturation can save the request to your vendor profile, but you do not need to create or manage a workspace.

Why do I see a Create workspace screen?

You are probably not using the secure vendor link. Return to the email or message from your client and open its link. If you no longer have it, ask the client to send a new secure link.

Why can I not submit the request?

Check the current screen and the review step for missing information. A payment request requires an invoice, an amount greater than zero, a description, and a selected bank account. The production may also require profile details, tax documents, or signed startwork.

Wait for the invoice scan to finish before continuing. If a bank account could not be saved, correct the highlighted bank or address field and try again.

How do I submit another invoice?

A purchase-order request is tied to that purchase order and client. Do not use a completed link for an unrelated invoice or project. If Request payment is available on your vendor Home page, use it for a new request. Otherwise, ask your client for another secure link.

What file types can I upload?

Invoice uploads accept PDF, JPG, JPEG, and PNG files up to 25 MB.

How do I check my invoice status?

Sign in and open the client workspace's Home page. The Payments section lists your payment requests and their approval status when that client has enabled the feature. Saturation also sends email updates for submitted payment requests.

What should I do if I submitted a duplicate or incorrect invoice?

Contact the client that sent the link. Tell them which request is incorrect before they approve or pay it.
